It's even harder when looking for something special for a special occasion. In Mothercare's conversation with Saarah, she shared the challenges and some tips and tricks to make the process easier for other parents when buying clothes for quadruplets.

Firstly, if it's a special occasion, shop ahead so you have plenty of time to find the same or similar pieces in the correct sizes. 

"This way, you won't be panicked when clothes don't match. At Mothercare, you can ask the staff to help you check if they have sizes at different outlets. They will be able to help you check and reserve. We have done that before, and it works really well. 

"Another option is to purchase online. First, you can check out the clothes in the store and buy them online for the right sizes. This is a great way to get the clothes you need without having to go to different places to look for them," said Saarah. 

Saarah said finally, make sure you have enough time to shop. Take your time with it as kids can get cranky and you don't want to end up with clothes you don't really like.

Luck plays a role in finding clothing items with the same design we like and in the right size, which is often challenging. When faced with this challenge, Sarah said the trick is to be flexible and creative. 

"Sometimes we end up looking for clothes which have sizes first and four pieces from the same design. When that is also impossible, we take 2 pairs of different designs but probably match in colour or style. For example, two bunny t-shirts and two carrot t-shirts!"

Saarah said the most important factors she considers when shopping are comfort, quality, and durability. 

"I can't have four boys running around in fancy clothes that aren't comfortable. So comfort comes first for us. Durability and quality are also important, as buying clothes for four kids is costly. 

"We don't mind paying the right price for quality so it lasts longer. You can shop at the discount aisle if you're on a budget. Kids grow out of clothes quickly, so it's not worth indulging in expensive clothes if they won't last," she said.

Saarah said when shopping on a budget, try checking out the discount aisle in stores.

Although having four children at once can be overwhelming and often exhausting, many joys come with raising quadruplets. 

Saarah has her own share of funny experiences during shopping, which can be particularly challenging because she needs to keep track of four children at once!

"Shop staff always get a shock followed by excitement, and then we all panic together and start looking. It's cute when the staff help to mix and match to make the outfits go together when we can't find sizes for the same clothes," she added.

Raising quadruplets is both challenging and rewarding. The hardest part is being unable to focus on one kid at a time. As parents, we want to give our all to each of our kids, but that's not possible when they all need us simultaneously. 

The most rewarding part is seeing them grow, learn, and spend time with each other. 

As far as shopping for multiple children go, the best advice Saarah can give to other parents is to make the experience as easy as possible.
