Job Purpose As an ambassador to our customers, you love children and mad about toys . You possess ‘retail flair’, have responsibilities from the start and will have your own section of the store to maintain that you will be taught to merchandise and replenish. A large part of your working day will be spent approaching and assisting customers. You will also be trained to use the tills and to work in the stock room with various tasks including deliveries. Your primary role will be to engage with our customers by asking brilliant questions and giving equally brilliant answers , in order to maximize sales and meet and exceed store targets.
Responsibilities: ● To achieve Sales Targets given ● To deliver outstanding customer service at all times ● To be knowledgeable about our product range and able to offer good advice to our customers ● To actively participate in demonstrating products ● To maintain your assigned department to company standards ● To be able to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently through the till points and to be actively pushing your add-on’s by engaging customers. ● To be responsible for any money handled ● To be able to merchandise commercially and effectively in order to maximize the sales potential of the shop floor ● To carry out routine tasks effectively and within the time constraints set by the management team ● To be vigilant at all times, ensuring company security procedures are followed and that risk of shrinkage is reduced ● To assist with the handling of deliveries to store and the maintenance of stock room areas ● To carry out routine tasks such as price changes and POSM ● To assist in the general housekeeping of both the front of house and back of house areas ● To attend out of hours training sessions with your team where reasonable notice is given prior to event ● To maintain a safe working environment in accordance with current health and safety legislation and company policy and procedure, and to report all accidents/incidents to the management team
Requirements: ● With retail experience is good but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply ● Have a passion for fashion and parenting or toys products ● Energetic, proactive and good interpersonal skills ● Able to engage potential customers with confidence ● Hands on and prepared to carry out practical tasks ● Must be able to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays
