How to Return & Exchange
We are happy to replace or exchange products returned within 14 days from the purchase date as long as it’s returned in its original packaging, unused and sellable condition.
Any cost of returning the unwanted item to us will not be refunded. Once we have received the returned item, we will proceed to exchange for the items you want to exchange with same value or higher. Any variance in payment shall be made to secure the order.
If the replacement of item is unavailable, you may request for a refund via the original payment method but please allow sufficient time for the process.
Proof of purchase will be required for all exchange or refund, so keep your receipts or invoices to make the return easier!
If any of the product returned which is part of a multi buy promotion item, all items shall be returned together. Products purchased during the VIP Member Sale with additional discounts shall be exchange or refund within the member sale day period only.
*Our Return Policy does not apply to gift vouchers, delivery or installation charges, product sold as special markdown with the condition as display unit, missing part, etc., normal wear and tear include toiletries, hygiene products such as briefs and bras, opened DVDs, VCDs & books after leaving the store and damaged items resulting from misuse.
Please note: For returning products via post, avoid standard mail as there’s a high possibility of the returned product being damaged which shall be borne by you.
There will be an exception to all the above if the product fault is due to manufacturing defect. We will offer a repair or replacement product free of charge where the product sold develops a manufacturing fault. The choice of service is at Mothercare’s discretion in the first instance, but if it does not meet the necessary requirements, the customer is entitled to request either further repairs or a refund.
Not the product that you ordered? (Applicable for online purchase only)
We will deliver the product that your ordered as fast as we could and retrieve the incorrect one at our cost. However, if you prefer an exchange or refund, we are happy to process for you which include refunding the purchase price and delivery charges or providing a replacement product provided the items returned within a reasonable time as per Return Policy. Return & Exchange Policy, however did not applicable to the above * mentioned.
Warranty and Repair Service
Almost all pushchair, car seats, electrical items and selected products sold at mothercare carry a warranty between 6 months to 4 years depending on the brands and category with effect from the date of purchase or baby’s date of birth. However this would also be subjected to condition of the product and price at the time of purchase.
We also offer a repair service for selected repairable products with a minimal fee. You might need to purchase spare parts for the repairing purpose.
We reserve the right to test and check the product returned, please allow some time for Mothercare staff to process should the above take place.
